this was less than a year ago that i was arguing and waiting for a 
response....   maybe they've improved, but Tom wouldnt admit to being 
wrong even as late as last may.  

again, this whole thread is personal experiences and opinnion.  I  think 
F12 antennas are DESIGNED well, just not BUILT well.  Tom asked "did you 
bult the elements through [to the boom]?"  well, NO...   there's no holes 
in our antenna to do so!!!  we paid for the 100 MPH version, but have 
absolutely no proof we received this and not the 80 MPH version.  

Personally, my next beam won't be a F12, but i have a TA33 in storage 
(that, a rotor, and a 13El 2M beam for $125, couldnt pass it up), as well 
as a REALLY heavy swan triband beam.  when i buy new, i'll be looking at 
bencher (someday, when i have money....) but who knows what will look 
promising by that point!!
