Subject: | [TowerTalk] Radial screen under roof-mounted Yagi? |

Hello all, I was wondering if it would be worth building a radial or ground screen under my tripod mounted TH2 about 11 above the roof peak. Total height of the antenna is 26 feet and I want to reduce the RF getting into the house. Thought maybe it would either absorb some stray fields or even affect the pattern like it was higher up. I know that this list is mainly tower owners, so thanks for any help. Beam is mounted on two 5' masts with rotor between on a 5' tripod - all are bonded together with #8 wire to a SPG. Thanks, Tony, AI9X |
