I only had a 2 el vert. array vs a 2 el shorty at 150'... And there was absolutlely no comparison... Vertical arrays are great if you can't put up a horizontal beam... ie 80 and 160... (for most of us anyway)... But a 2el shortened yagi on 40M is a very effective antenna. but I think you'd rather have the beam @70', I know I would. Maybe someday. Mel... VE2DC |
