> Is there really a qualitative difference betwwen these units?
Both are good units. I went with the Polyphaser units as more
of the commercial sites seemed to use their unit than ICE.
Also was the GREAT support from Bob AA0CY, then an engineer
for Polyphaser, to help me design a system for here with no weak
spots ... (TU Bob!)
The basics of how you plan you system will be the same. And
after the damage from the last BIG strike here, the thought of
cutting corners to save a few dollars just did not sit well. I could
have purchased a nice new amp (or 2 !) for the investment I made
here ... now 6 years later, I had no problems with the Polyphaser
units used throughout the system here. I would use them again.
