Hi Ian,
You can use a std. UHF Pl259 for LMR 400 and for 240 (you mention 200, see
further on). For the 240, use a UG176 adaptor, same as for 8X. Note: if you
buy Times LMR and install connectors, theirs or otherwise, yourself or via
other than a licensed installer, the cable warranty is void. We've never
experienced a cable problem anyway, and many hams do their own connetors. N
connect's for LMR 400 must be the 9913 type, not RG8/RG213, etc. type.
If you mean LMR 200 (vs. 240) I can look into that but if I remember
correctly you can still use the UHF, just need to shim for the OD being .195"
vs. .242" on the 240. Inner conductor is .044 vs. .056 on the 240.
Ref. flex of 400 for connection to amp, tuner, routing it, etc. you
should have no problem at all. 400 is about as flex as a stiff RG8, solid
ctr conduc, and the rated bend radius for 400 is 1"; however, we've found it
best to play it conservative with LMR bend ratings, say 2" vs. 1".
We have the lowest pricing on LMR, their connectors and our custom made
hard line connectors (appreciably lower cost than Times connects), that we're
aware of. Same commercial wholesale price to hams. Any other questions,
feel free to contact me. 73, Steve Davis, K1PEK DAVIS RF Co.

etc that we sell. This "full client satisfaction" approach ensures a much
more highly satisfied client, better informed, avoidance of errors, delays,

We also have the lowest prices (on QUALITY parts) available as far as we can
determine. You can go to other cable "Experts" and save a little, get mis
info (we've proven that thru following up on info relayed to us by customers)
and you can knock years off the proper operational life of coaxes, wire, rope
due to inferior outer jacket plasticides, single vs. double rope brading,
poor U.V. resistant polymers, inferior construction.
We have a "Full Satisfaction", full refund less cost to ship it to you,

PL259, say for example the PL259 by Amphenol or Kings. I ask so becouse I
have seen that inner conductor is larger gauge than that in RG213.
Also I need know if LMR400 (not Ultraflex) is so flexible to be used in
radio station indoor to connect rig to amplifier and tuner etc.
Many thanks for the infos.
