Hi Luis!
Congratulations on your AB-105, the tower of choice by many of the best
contest stations.
The steps for an AB-105 are provided with the tower, so perhaps
you did not get them when you acquired your tower (or your AB-105 may be
one of the rare early AB-105 models that used very inconvenient
triangular plates for the steps).
The part number (stamped on the part) of the AB-105 step is G-10A (G-10 in
earlier models). It is fabricated from L-shaped hot-dip galvanized angle,
1 inch x 0.75 inch x 0.125 inches thick. The angle is 23 inches long with
a 13/32 inch hole centered 5/8 inch from each end. There is nothing
critical about the 1 inch x 0.75 inch x 0.125 inch steel angle dimension,
although the material you select should certainly be no weaker than the
original angle. All but the earliest AB-105 models are pre-drilled for
the installation of G-10 steps.
An ladder for an 80 foot AB-105 requires 64 G-10A steps. Three G-10 steps
are also used to at each section joint and six G-10 steps should be used
to strengthen each guy attachment point.

Hi guys!
I have in my garden a 80 ft AB 105 military Tower, and would like to
have some tips how to install steps on it. Very rough to climb without
steps as its made of steel angle...
