The Scotch 23 (self vulcanizing rubber) covered with Scotch 33 or 88 and
then covered with Scotchkote is easily removed with a sharp knife. Slice
through the three protective layers ... but not into the jacket!
I've used that procedure for about 20 years in the Coast Guard.
