I have already noticed in the past few years that some bad WWV
situations, when higher frequencies are unusable, still producing
openings on 160m. Last night I did not check the WWV but from that you
really can't figure out what's gonna happen on top band anyway.
In Toronto good Condx were pretty short. The biggest signal came from HA5JI,
Gyuri.
He was true S 9, very loud, stronger than any other EU.
I noticed light echo on W3GH's signal. That was something new. Did any one else
noticed? I guess his signal was reflected by the Aurora, however the signal was
clean
and not aurora like.
After 06:30 West coast signals came up dramatically and some of them were 599++
I am getting my WWV from here: http://www.sec.noaa.gov/ftpdir/latest/wwv.txt
