Topband: Beverage ends: taper down or not?

Hi Mike,

To minimize damage from large animals I use #10 solid conductor hard drawn
copper wire with insulation (house wire).  The animals do chew and mess with
it but I have no failures.  I also try to keep it low to the ground (under
2-3 feet).
