Best results were obtained with the Omni VI+ when using the 250-Hz filter and the NR button turned on." Your experience agrees with mine. I did some bench and on-the-air tests of an Omni VI a few months ago and had a similar experience. I also found that the skirts on the 250 Hz filter were very wide. My Mk V, with dual 250 Hz filters, easily out-classed it during contests and when the bands were busy. Brad, KV5V |
