Topband: re:bird 43 wattmeter

Hi guysl;
I have a chance to pick up a nice bird 43 wattmeter at a good price.  First
a question...One of the slugs that comes with it starts at 2 Mhz & goes to
about 30 Mhz.  I cannot fins in any on-line source to this point that goes
below 2.0 Mhz.  Is this slug close enough as to be accurate on 160 meters???
What say you low band tech afficianodos???
