I installed a beverage today using nail in fence insulators on trees thru the woods. It appears as though the insulators are designed to have the wire wrapped around them to keep it tight. Wasn't sure if this was acceptable practice or not. I just clipped the wire through the little clips for now. Would it affect the receiving characteristics to put one turn around each insulator to keep it tight? Around 10 insulators on a 500' antenna.... 73 Jamie |
