I thought that there was going to be quite a prolonged opening to the US
this morning. It started at 0300 with N7JW at 569 and building.
Worked a couple more guys, then at 0306 gave a standby for KL7, just in
case. When nothing heard after 30s, called QRZ again, but the band was
dead, a full 10 min before SR.
Such a promising start, and such a dismal end!
