It's been several weeks since I didn't hear anything - whereas I am QRV
every day - on 1828 kHz. But, the opening occured in Sep 18. Firstly, Gus
KH2/K4SXT gave me 559 in our second TB QSO at 2013z. At the same time,
8Q7CC was heard well (599) when working JA and EU. Later, I worked him at
2114z with 599 reports exchanged. I also worked JA4AUC (2024z) and JA4DND
(2036z), both were 559 in Cinere. Other EU stations heard are the OH, OK,
DJ. Outstanding signals were from UE0LEZ (2045z, when he's working JA),
UR0MA (2131z), and Steve's, VK6VZ. My operation was ended today after a
brief QSO with VK6AGI (2152z, both sent 559). Amazingly, I could still hear
signal from 8Q7CC working EU after ten minutes past SR. Just curious what
antenna/power they use...
PS:
Hello friends in US midwest/westcoast, I'll try to be on the band at my
sunset, today. Gud DX.
