I'm nearly finished with the restoration of a Triton IV (544 digital). I hear a pulsing frequency marker at 14.0 MHz but my 544 manual makes no mention of it. It's definitely not a 25 kHz or 100 kHz crystal calibrator. It's continuously there with no means to turn it on/off. I thought that perhaps it's a third-party add-on unit or perhaps a homebrew mod, but I don't see anything that would indicate either. Comments?
