[TenTec] Scout transmit problem

I'm trying to get the Scout back on the air after ten years of sitting on a
dusty shelf.  Using the Tune function, it shows 0 forward power; and no
swr.  When PTT is pushed, ALD light flickers once; but no fwd.  Using a key
the tone is produced, but no fwd power.  Receive works fine.

Setup is temporary, stationary mobile -- a hamstick and 8 ft power cord
alligator clipped to car battery.

Any ideas would be appreciated.  Bob KB1CIW
