TenTec RF Speech Processor, Hand Microphone, Power Transformer,
Power Supply, and other miscellaneous accessories For Sale:
TenTec 234 RF Speech Processor
The 234 is the predecessor to the 715 speech processor.
It matches the early Omni 545/546 Series A, B, and C rigs, Delta,
and others of that era, but of course can be used with any rig,
since it simply inserts in the microphone line.
This is an extremely effective unit, typically providing about a
6 db increase in talk power. That is about the same as a linear
amplifier -- at much less cost.
It has both a 4 pin plug and a 1/4 inch stereo jack for input,
and needs 13 V DC at low current. With paperwork for $150.
TenTec Model 700 Hand Microphone:
The Model 700 TenTec microphone has a four pin plug on it, and
requires a polarizing voltage from the rig, since it has an
electret mic element.
It is often used with the TenTec Corsair, Delta, Paragon, Scout,
Omni V and VI, and most any of the TenTec rigs that have a 4 pin
connector. It is also used with the Model 234 speech processor.
This one works fine and looks like new, completely unused.
Paper work is included for $40
Power Transformer for TenTec Hercules 444 HF linear amplifier
This power transformer is used with the older Hercules 444 HF
linear amplifier (not the newer Hercules II). It includes the
molex plug, so that it will simply plug into the 444. This is
a "spare" transformer that was never used.
The Hercules 444 provided 48 to 50 volts DC at up to 25 amps
to produce about 1000 to 1200 watts DC input in order to get
600 watts of RF out. This transformer is roughly a 7 inch cube,
so is a very healthy transformer of approximately 1250 VA, if
someone wants to use it for another project. $75
TenTec Switching Power Supply:
"Switcher / 25" 25 amp switching power supply:
This is a 25 amp switching power supply in a case that
matches the early Omni series case, with the metal bezel
around it. It is in a case that is the same size as a 243
remote VFO. It has an ammeter on the front, along with
Switch, TenTec logo, and output bulb. The front panel
basically looks like a 280 power supply with a metal bezel,
but says "Switcher/25" on it. It is very quiet, and well
shielded, and does not produce any electrical noise that
I could find. $140
Waters (B & W) Model 376 Protax Coax Switch:
This five position switch permits all five antennas to be shorted
to ground. It does not short the input connector to ground. This
is the Waters "Protax" series, which grounds all unused antennas
(or all antennas if in the "ground" position.
It accepts PL-259 connectors, with the coax going out like the
spokes of a wheel. There is also a mounting bracket if one would
want to wall mount it.
This one works fine and looks extremely nice.
Paperwork is included for $35.
Cables for CW keyers and keys:
Cable for paddles
About 3 feet long, and with a 1/8 inch (3.5 mm) stereo
connector on the end, like used by most rigs. $8
As above, but 1/4 inch plug. $8
Cable for straight key
About 3 feet long, with a mono 1/8 inch (3.5 mm) phone
plug on it, as used with a straight key. $5
As above, but 1/4 inch plug. $5
I also have many other accessories available such as many
different types of microphones, HTs, VHF and UHF rigs,
antennas, etc. Just too many things to list here.
Please e-mail your requests.

Thanks.
