The Rebel has excited at least one "old guy". I forwarded John Henry's post to a ham friend yesterday, and my friend ordered the Rebel the same day. His interest was piqued by the open source code, and as we talked on this morning's 40 meter round table my friend talked of his past experience writing code and how much he is looking forward to working on the Rebel's programming. TenTec has hit on a way to excite both old hams and interest young people in the ham experience. Great job TenTec! Dexter - W4DLA |
