I thought I'd pass this along: My Omni VI wouldn't change frequency so I
subbed the RIT encoder and confirmed a bad encoder. I found one on Ebay
that not only was close but better than stock (it's got a ball-bearing
shaft instead of the stock one with a bushing only). Not only is it working
better, it's only $21 shipped! Needless to say but I bought another one
today to have on hand. Here it is:
