This is normal, no more "tick marks" or user selectable sweep range. You
will also notice that the S-meter will hang at the last reading as you spin
the knob.
But I find that the NR is working again, still not as well as version 1x
firmware, but an improvement. Still waiting for a final product, but
getting impatient.

Subject: [TenTec] Firmware 2.063Xg.
I finially decided to upgrade my Orion to the latest firmware and decided to
load the beta version. Everything went great but I noticed that I had lost
the tick marks from the band scope and there was no way to change the sweep
range. Everything else seemed to work fine. Did I miss something? Is this
normal for this beta version? Was is a bad download? No indications of a bad
download as the program finished up and radio seemed fime in all aspects
except the broad range non-marked scope function. I have now down load
version 2.062a into the radio and the scope markings are back and able to
adjust the scope band width from the system menu. Does anyone have any
constructive, supportive comments? I love and support Ten Tec and all they
do so don't send me an email running them down. KL7ai - Alaska
