It is a fine rig, essentially an OMni VI w/o some features. It has no rit, but I always used the 2nd vfo as rit if needed and never found it a problem. Carl, n4py, was making chips to add many features(and more importantly-to allow L.O. adjustment from the front panel) and his mods were fantastic. I see he has improved this with a new chip, but I am not aware of all of the new features. The Omni V works well, check the ARRL site for a review if you are a member(arent we all?).
