[TenTec] Omni VI+

Got a "new to me" Omni VI+ this week, and really enjoying it thus far. 
Anyone with experience with the Inrad "audio mod" and using 2.8kc filters 
that would answer a couple of questions off list??  Also, a "general" 
question.  This rig has the model 220 filter (2.4kc) filter in one of the 
optional 9 mc slots.  What is the advantage of this filter over the 
"standard" one?
