I sent the contesting.com list admin a strongly worded statement for
allowing a Ten*Tec subgroup on contesting.com.
Unfortunately, it's too late to stop this action, but let's hope they do not
allow more balkanization of the Ten-Tec reflector on contesting.com.
Just what is it with the Orion owners? They own what is arguably the finest
radio in the world and it just seems they don't want to be part of this
"family." I hope to own one eventually too, but I'll be damned if I will
subscribe to yet-another-reflector just to hear about that radio. This list
is just fine and has been for many years. This is a sad day for all Ten Tec
fans.
You know, it's interesting that a HUGE manufacturer like Yaesu can get by
with just one reflector, but Orion owners insist on having their own.
Very sad indeed.
