I haven't checked this out but someone told me the real Omni VI+ had circuit
boards with surface mount technology, smt, components while the other did
not. Perhaps someone can verify this.
I can't help believe that many changes and improvements weren't made over
the years and a real VI+ should have the latest. If nothing else, a real VI+
would be newer than an old upgraded one.
