[TenTec] "Thin Audio" From an Omni-6+

I've recently gotten reports that my audio was "thin" regardless of where I set
the mike gain or processor.

I'm using a stock Omni-6 Plus and a 705 mike.  Could the battery be low?

I tried an old Astatic 10DA (100k ohm impedence, I believe, and probably lower
output) and it seemed better, but hten again, it's hard to judge.   I also use a
Heil proset for contesting, but didn't for this test.

Any thoughts on a solution?
