Don't laugh Bill! The brain can sort things out better that way. The
'Cocktail Party Effect' (the mental facility that enables you to keep one
ear on another interesting conversation going on across the room).
Harder to do if you cover one ear. When contesting, it helps you decide
which is to be the next QSO, or to make a quick exchange with one stn while
awaiting the slow completion from another. Or await the WWV propagation
report while in QSO. etc. This is one bell or whistle that Tentec did very well.
