Sorry Bill-I use this regularly both for DXing and contests-it's the reason
I have a Corsair II w/ the outboard vfo. Once you get used to it, it's an
invaluble tool for working around a pileup. You can hear who's getting
through, and still hear the DX to time your call as well as the right freq
(assuming you're working split-usually the case for dx). I'm surprised more
radios don't have this capability; once you use it, you won't be happy
without it!
