Not sure if this will apply to the Omni V but I know it does with the VI
You have to set a parameter within one of the set-up menus which is
something like CDE-OFF if it is set to ON then the radio spews out frequency
info which tr can't cope with.

So - good suggestions, but did not get any responses from
someone with an OMNI V. - however..
1. Null modem cable - YES
2. Baud rates - tried all rates w/o change in symptoms
3. Not yet tried -

- I don't have a DOS disk, but I do have different computers
(not laptops, not WIN95.....etc)
Keep the suggestions coming - when it works I will post the fix.
