I don't remember this guy's name, but he does great work. He restrung my
tower a few years ago. He found that the friction brake on the winch had
deteriorated. Fortunately I had a spare winch. Really glad I didn't try to
crank it down. I like both of my arms, just the way they are!
Maintenance on crank-up towers in not something to overlook or put off.
Check US Towers guidelines, and catch this guy while he is in the area.

Subject: [SECC] Fwd: [SEDXC] US TOWER
K4PI has asked me to forward this to the SECC reflector....
One more time...........
Looking for anyone with a US Tower HDX589 or similar that might need cables
replaced.
It is a major job and the one done in the past few years were done by a
professional out of California.
At that time several users split the transportation cost and lodging.
I need to get my tower reworked and wonder if there is anyone that would be
interested if their tower needs reworking.
The HDX589 usually takes about 2 days. Contact K4PI at Bellsouth.net
