Club: Coastal Amateur Radio Society
Comments:
First time entry from the Coastal Amateur Radio Sociey (CARS) club station
to
Georgia QSO Party. Super effort by a number of the club members, many who
supported the team by erecting dipoles and working on computers and
equipment.
In addition to the club station, W4LHS, individuals setup additional
stations to
operate like Field Day. For many this was a learning experience as the
club is
developing new operators - Look for CARS to become a force in Southeast
Georgia
contesting and DX activities. Thanks to the SECC and SEDXC for sponsoring
this
wonderful event. And thanks to all the stations who heard W4LHS and
contributed
to the experience.
