The LZ Open 40m Sprint takes place tonight from 00:00 to
03:59 UTC Saturday 5th April. It is CW-only on 40m.

Rules at http://www.lzopen.com/lzocc40/index.htm

SD supports this event. V14.01 runs on any Windows PC
and is free from www.ei5di.com.

   Select SD's "LZ Open" template.

Work everyone. The exchange is "different". There
is no RST. Send serial + serial received on previous
QSO. For first QSO, send 001 000.

SD does all this for you, but you must log the exchange
with a space in the middle, between the two pairs of
numbers.

You can work the same stations again after 30 minutes.
SD shows a "countdown" window - with time, by call,
before the stations can be worked again. Since
the clocks changed last week, I've found this display
does not appear unless your computer clock (in Control
Panel) is set to GMT with Daylight Savings Time
disabled - sorry about that.

After the contest, use SDCHECK to create your Cabrillo log.
Email it, as an attached file, to LZ1GL(at)yahoo.com

Please mention SD in your Cabrillo soapbox comments - if
only to say you used it. It makes a difference.

73,
Paul EI5DI
