REPLY: No, it is one box with two radios inside. You draw the line when your equipment is capable of receiving at the same time as it is transmitting. This allows you to hunt for multipliers on band A while calling CQ on band B. You are able to listen during 100% of the contest period, something a conventional transceiver can not do.
