I also emailed the group. I appreciate their attempt.

As for the 'jumping frequency'.
Wonder if it was the same problem with the FO operation.
They were jumping around which required many repeats.

When I suggested they turn off 'net' and 'afc', they became rock solid.
Could the 3C0V people be using MMTTY or equivalent and be set up the same
way?

If someone gets a solid contact, maybe advise them to turn those buttons off
if they are activated.
