I have a total of 15 ground rods in my system which are part of a perimeter
ground that I installed. This includes the ground rod that is connected to
the house electrical panel. Everything is bonded to create a single point
ground system. I have an image of it on QRZ if anyone wants a more
detailed view. Also, don't forget to run a bond cable from the mast to the
tower so as to jump the thrust bearing. I have heard of instances where a
direct hit welded the bearing and seized up the whole works.

Regards,

Anthony (N2KI)
