Found the following apparent "bugs" using version 10.51 in ARRL DX SSB,
multi/multi Unlimited setting. 3 computers networked with daisey-chain, one
going to a TNC, one controlling a TS940S and one controlling an FT1000MP:
--The Frequency window kept popping up over the Announce window. This
happened every time the other station using radio control logged a contact!
A real nuisance! If the cursor was in the Announce window at the time, it
meant hitting the Escape key to get out of it and keep logging, then ALT A
to get the announce window back and control-right-arrow again to get back
in Announce to grab a spot. When both stations were running, this made for
LOTS of unnecessary key strokes and was very, very distracting.
--The Frequency window showed MY frequency just fine, but not the frequency
of the OTHER station (this worked the same on either computer that was
controlling a radio). So in addition to the Frequency window covering the
the Announce window, the information it provided was NIL!
--With SPOTS set for band-only, NO 40 meter spots would appear in the
Announce window. Had to change it to all-band and live with all the other
spots cluttering the Announce window. (The spots were coming in -- I could
see them in the Packet window. They just weren't showing in Announce with
it set to band-only even though they were needed spots).
--ALT F4 doesn't work as the manual says it should. It doesn't grab the
latest spot -- it only returns me to original frequency after grabbing a
spot from the Announce window. Would be nice too if it let me toggle back
and forth to the latest spot grabbed.
--Check partial didn't work all the time.
Any solutions?
