To fix these specific calls, KG4QD and EM1HO need to be added to the
CQWW.CTY and DXCC.CTY. This is accomplished by editing the master
COUNTRY.DAT data file, then running MAKE COUNTRY FILE in the NA Utility
program (NAU.EXE).
I'm 99% sure EM1HO is corrected in the new country file recently
uploaded to the web site by AD1C, but not sure about KG4QD. I tried to
download the file over the weekend from my home and got errors when I
tried to unzip the CTYZIP.ZIP file. Has anybody else had this
problem? I wonder what version of PKZIP AD1C used to compress the
file? I was trying to unzip it with version 2.04.
If anyone else has calls that need to be added, let me know and I'll
edit and re-post the file.
Some people have commented that it would be nice to be able to add
calls/countries "on the fly" within NA. CT has this capability, but
K1EA told me it was a real bear to code and get to run correctly. I
really don't want to get into this because of the programming
complexity, but perhaps we can add a utility to NAU to add a specific
call to the file.
