I spent some hours playing with my new radio, computer, and amplifier in
Field Day, thus operating as a '1D' with a QSO point value = 1.
Although by the rules 'D' stations get zero points for 'D' to 'D' QSOs, NA
was happily awarding me 1 pointe per QSO.
This was my second time (first in a few years) using NA, and after getting
over my initial "hmmm, how do I do _that_?" problems, I fell into the
swing of it pretty well. 160 QSOs/hour felt like I had a lot of "realtime"
still available for more volume of QSOs!
