Just in case I forget to tell you on the phone Dave.... #1. I believe that a better way to update the rate window is to do it after every QSO and when the clock rolls around to a new minute. That way when you havn't made a QSO for 10 mins, your rate meter isn't still sitting there at the rate it was when you made that last QSO.
