[ct-user] Rewire Kenwood DVP Cable to Yaesu

I just got an FT1000 and am considering rewiring the Harvard Radio
"Kenwood" DVP cable.  Is it a straightforward enough process or should I
instead order a new cable specifically wired for the Yaesu.    Has
anyone done this?  Does anyone have the schematics?
