In the future, I want to avoid using vox in CW contests. I am using LPT1 for CT CW contests. I am already using pins 1,17,18 for CW keying. Am I correct to assume, I need identical components for ping 16? Or do I just need an additional 1-K resistor from ping 16 (PTT SLCT) to base of existing transistor on pin 1?
