The easiest way to start Win95 and just get a DOS prompt (like the old
days) is to put a file called "WIN.BAT"
in the root directory of your C:\ drive. Just a couple of hits of the
Enter key in Edit when you create the file is enough to do the trick. In
other words, no commands must be in this file in order for it to NOT load
the Win95 GUI.
