Tom,
Prices for the Dell Optiplex 755 & 760's on eBay have been dropping. I've
gotten some for myself, family & for another ham for under $100 per unit
(including shipping and sales tax) direct from Dell Financial Services,
Dell's leasing arm, so they come with a factory warranty as well.
Last one I got came with Win 7, 2 GB RAM, and an 80 GB hard drive. And it
works just fine. (I'm typing this email on it!)
The point is, anyone who needs a new system, look around. You can find a
lot of really good used systems for not a lot of money these days. (Which
put an end to my little side business of refurbing & reselling older
systems, but that's another story!)

I have an Optiplex 755 that I got from a guy on eBay for $115. The guys
user name is 'computerbase'. Not affiliated, just a happy customer.
It's a dual core, 2.8mhz with 2 gig ram and W7. Use if for CW, SSB, and
RTTY. Been really happy with it. 73
