Anyone who would like to participate in a contest where a restricted-time category is allowed should try the RSGB IOTA contest, the last weekend in July. ( http://www.vhfcc.org/hfcc/rules/2009/riota.shtml ). The contest itself is 24 hours, and there is an optional 12-hour category, which is very well-supported. It allows people like me, who think that even 24 continuous hours of operating is ridiculous, to put in some sort of entry. 73, Ed, GW3SQX _______________________________________________ CQ-Contest mailing list CQ-Contest@contesting.com http://lists.contesting.com/mailman/listinfo/cq-contest |
