I prefer to leave the power level at the highest legal limit. That is
partially selfish, since with modest antennas, I can hold my own better
with high power. Also, the historical records would be harder to
maintain and might require two sets or a bunch of asterisks if we change
the power limit. I assume that there would be less cheating if the
power level is not changed. I doubt there is much cheating in NAQP, but
that is a much less intense contest. Lowering the power level in the
Sprints to 100 watts would leave a lot more of us with the ability to
cheat than those of us who might have super power amps so as to be able
to cheat under the current rules.
