Gee, I guess I'm not grasping the big stink over Line Scores & printed
publication vs. the Net. With the costs of digital data storage constantly going down and the costs of printing going through the roof, it's no wonder that many newspapers are working overtime to divert readers to web-viewers. IMHO, the "printed page' is doomed to extinction perhaps sooner than we realize. Personally, I find the downloadable .csv files off the ARRL's website to be far more efficient for data evaluation and reconfiguration purposes in Excel or a Database (and there is no need to retype information) than from fine print in a magazine. Especially so as my glasses just don't seem to work as well year after year. In case no one has realized this yet, a web page can become a "printed page" with a click or two of the mouse :-) And of course, BPL will make Line Score(s) viewing "online" so much faster (ooops, bad joke again).
