It's my expreience that contesters and hams in general cling to their
computers much longer than the rest of the world. So this really wont be
an issue for most people on this list for another 10 years.
How many of you still use 386's to contest?

Barry,
I recently also had a bad experience due to bad quality control with a
new 3KW 989C Tuner from MFJ.
The "new" tuner had with 3 different problems within the first ten days
of ownership. I think MFJ can get a lesson in customer support from your
experience with ICE.

P.S. My problem with the tuner was never resolved by MFJ.
