How easy do you want it to be? I drew up a diagram using a four position
ceramic switch and a tapped balun (1:1 and 2:1, ie 50:25 ohms). The four
switch positions are: Radio 1/Ant 1+2, Radio 1/Ant1//Radio2/Ant2,
Radio1/Ant2//Radio2/Ant1, and Radio 2/Ant 1+2. I roughed out a relay setup,
but it may be too dangerous i.e., relay failure = transmitting from one radio
into another! I've got ceramic switches that will do the job, especially for
low power. Send an SASE for the diagram. 73, Paul

It is called a Chicago grip because that is the Registered Trademark name
that Klein put on it. (Klein also have a Haven (R) grip that is the typical
cheap grip for fence wire that does some damage to the wire and/or plating.)
Of course why Klein called them Chicago grips is the real question that you
are asking and I don't have the answer for that bit of trivia, but would be
interested in finding out.

Very nicely done Tree! We look forward to the competition. As
always, Mark AG9A (@ NC0P) and I (@K4VX/0) reserve our places in the
top ten--W5s or no W5s!
:) :) As long as everybody doesn't decide to go low power and use
club calls and operate for ten or fifteen hours! :) :)
73, Dave, WX3N
Lets nor forget K0RF, N2IC, and K3LR! Oh yea, Fisher might still get
on--as the clock gets closer to 2100Z Bill won't be able to suppress
the competitive urge-
