Google Wikapedia for "RCA" and you will see a fascinating history. The
current owner of the trademark is VOXX corporation (formerly Thomson) which
uses it for many product lines.

The french company "Thomson" (no "P") bought the name "RCA", logos and
several branches of the now defunct "RCA" company.
(including the broadcast parts parts business, in N.J.)
The Thomson company uses the "RCA" name fluently.
