Some would argue - correctly in my view - that the deep frying a turkey in
peanut oil would be a far more satisfying project than building an amp which
is submersed in oil.

Subject: Re: [Amps] Odd query....
Since it's for a low frequency application, my first thought was to just
toss it in a bucket of oil. But that wouldn't fit in the volume I need
to work with. It would also get messy when I had to move it...
I could put it in a custom fitted oil-tight box but that's way more
effort than would be FUN to do.
Turkey in oil? You southern boys sure have weird dietary needs....

I would put everything ... filament transformer and all input circuits

Might be a good turkey cooker for Thanksgiving if you used peanut oil.

Having run out of "important" projects, I've been toying with starting
a "fun" project just for the heck of it.
The key words in the project description are:
Unusual
Unique
Weird
Wacky
and last but certainly not least:
CHEAP
Several amp concepts have been running around in my old head but one
in particular keeps coming back around. So with that background in
mind, here's the question:
Has anyone water cooled a 4CX250? Or oil cooled for that matter.
Discussion??
