HI Dick
I disconnected one side and it came on OK and didn't blow the fuse. Still
looking. 73

Disconnect the Transformer HV AC leads and try again. You may have lost
the Xfmr.

HI All
I have an AL-811H that I've had for about a month. It has been working OK
until last night.
I was making a contact and all of a sudden, it started chattering and blew a
fuse. This morning I took the cover off and pulled the tubes. I turned it
on and it started chattering again and blew another fuse. It blows the one
closest to the side of the amp (left side fuse if looking at it from the
back).
I checked the meter diode and it's OK. Checked all 4 tubes and the grids
are grounded directly to ground.
I checked the diodes in the HV string and they seem OK.
Any suggestions where to go next? Thanks and 73
